Reseller Options
For the purpose of the description of the various reseller plans, SafetyNet backup Solutions Limited will be referred to as SBS
Option 1 – Sales Agency
Agency, reseller agrees to promote the SafetyNet Online Backup Service. In return, reseller receives commission on any revenue earned by SBS through clients referred by the reseller. This commission is paid for the first 10 years that the client is with SBS (or for the duration that the client is with SBS if less than 10 years.)
SBS is responsible for all interaction with the client, from advice and installation right through to invoicing and providing technical support.
Suitable for a business or individual that provides advice\support to many small businesses and would like an additional revenue source without the additional workload.
Option 2 – Reseller
Reseller rebrands software as though it is their software and service. Reseller provides only point of contact for client. Reseller advises client on backup requirements, completes the installation and provides first level technical support to the client as well as invoicing the client directly.
SBS provides the necessary software and technical documentation to the Reseller to allow them to provide this service as well as providing Second level Technical support to the Reseller. SBS has no interaction with the client unless a specific situation arises and is requested to by the Reseller.
Reseller invoices client directly and SBS invoices Reseller.
Suitable for businesses with existing technical knowledge e.g. IT support companies who would like to provide the service to its clients without having to incur the expenses of purchasing the necessary hardware and software. Allows the business to present this service as their own, their clients do not know that SBS is involved.
A reseller may only choose one of the above options and not a combination.
